Thank you for taking the time to look at my images and consider me as your wedding photographer. I love to capture the intimate moments, details and range of emotions that make up your wedding day!
My use of an illustrative style of photography results in images which are a blend of editorial and formal photography styles. I like to make the experience a fun one and very much view the day as a collaboration between us so that the images we create will form part of each family’s collective memory, passed down to generations and may be used in the future to form a slideshow, be enlarged or created into an heirloom Wedding Album.
After all, great images are created through having a trusting partnership with your Photographer.
Choosing a wedding Photographer can be a daunting task, you may not realise it now, but once the occasion has come and gone the images we produce will form part of your lasting memory of a magnificent day.
“Words cannot express how utterly delighted we are with our choice of Mark Avellino as photographer. With his easy-going nature, Mark captured every special moment of our day for us to relive for years to come and we can’t thank him enough. Do yourself a favour, meet Mark!” said one of my recent brides.
Can we meet up first before we decide if we want you to shoot our wedding?
I strongly recommend we do this. It’s a great way to get to know each other and decide if we are a good fit. I will usually meet people at a cafe or somewhere similar.
Do you edit all the photo’s?
All the photos displayed on both my Website and Instagram are edited by me personally. I shoot only a limited number of Weddings in a season which helps to ensure I personally edit every image myself.
How long before I receive my images?
Generally I will deliver images 6-8 weeks after shooting your Wedding. I do try to send you some sneak peaks in the week after the Wedding so you can share these with your family and guests.
How long do you keep my photo’s for?
I keep your photo’s for 5 years. However, I have to admit that I have not, to date, deleted any of my past Weddings and have an archive going back around 15 years so it is always worth touching base. I do suggest that you copy the files I provide you with over to a number of different drives so you have a back up.
If we need you stay longer on the day of the wedding do we have this option?
You certainly do, the extra charge will be $220 per hour. This option can be taken up at any time either ahead of the day or on the day itself. You will be invoiced for the extra time prior to the delivery of images.
Do you travel?
Destination weddings whether they be in Australia or overseas are never out of the question and sometime totally encouraged! The passport is always current and bags are ready to go. I don’t charge a travel feel if your wedding is 100kms from Maribyrnong.
If your wedding is interstate I will generally charge for flights and two nights accomodation. Weddings in in Oz or overseas can all be negotiated and well if your timing is right it may co-ordinate with one of my overseas trips anyway.
Are you insured?
I wouldn’t leave home without it!, I have $20,000,000 public liability insurance.
Do you produce Albums?
Absolutely!, I shoot all my weddings with an Album in mind. So, if you don’t immediately order one of my Photography/Album packages you will be able to come to m eat a later date to produce one.
There is nothing better than sitting on the couch flicking through an Album with selected highlights of your special day. These are produced in collaboration with me and you can pick from two styles of Album for the finished product.
Do you need a meal on the day?
Yes in deed, being fed is the best way to keep the energy up and absolutely necessary if I am shooting more than 1 hour of the reception.
I like to make the experience a fun one and very much view the day as a collaboration between us so that the images we create will form part of each family’s collective memory, passed down to generations and may be used in the future to form a slideshow more..
